=Open letter to those young people...=


To those young people, who are confidently speaking ill or against Islam on social media, do not think that you are being any more ‘intellectual’ by doing so. The fact of the matter is that there is a side of an entire picture that you are refusing to see. Just because you side with what the western academics say, does not make you any more intelligent. It just shows how blinded you have become, with the folds that they have been trying to put on your eyes for so long.

So dare to take those folds off your eyes. And ask the big questions. Do not be stuck with the smaller questions like “Why do we have 5 prayers?”, “Why do men get to have 4 wives?”, “Why do women have to wear hijab?”….these are all small questions. We all need to learn to ask the big questions, like “Is this really the Truth?”, “Is that man really a messenger?”, “Is that Book truly the Word of God?” When we start asking these question, and start searching for them with a sincere heart without any bias, Allah Will show us the answers to each of those questions. And all we would find is consistency and perfection, in the commandments of Allah. So we would no longer have those petty questions once we are convinced of Allah. Because when we realize Allah is Perfect, we realize that all of His Decisions are perfect and thus we are ready to obey Him in whatever we do.

So dare to search. Search for the truth for YOURSELF and get to the very end of it. Because it’s insanely hypocritical to assume yourself to be ‘open-minded’ while you have not attempted to take a look at something YOURSELF!

މިއަދުގެ ޒުވާން ކުދިންނަށް މެސެޖެއް=

މީސްމީޑިޔާގައި ނުހަނު ޖޯޝާއެކީ އިސްލާމް ދީނަށް ބަދުބަސް ބުނެ އިސްލާމް ދީނާއި ދެކޮޅަށް އަޑުއުފުލާ ޒުވާނުން ނިކަން އަޑުއަހާށެވެ. ތިފަދަ ވާހަކަތައް ފަތުރައިގެން ތިބާއަކީ އަދި މާ 'ވިސްނުންތޫނު' މީހަކަށް ނުވެއެވެ. ޙަޤީޤަތަކީ ތިބާ މުޅި ތަޞްވީރެއްގެ އެއްބައި ބަލަން އިންކާރު ކުރަމުން ދާކަމެވެ. ހުޅަނގުގެ މީހުން ދައްކާ ވާހަކައަކާއި ތިބާ އެއްކޮޅުވުމުން ތިބާއަކީ އަދި މާ ފިކުރީ މީހަކަށް ނުވެއެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު އެއިން އެނގެނީ އެމީހުންގެ ބަސްތަކުން ތިބާގެ ނަޒަރިއްޔާތަށް ފަރުދާ އެޅިފައިވި މިންވަރެވެ.

އެ ފަރުދާ ތިބާގެ ލޯމަތިން ނަގަން ކެރޭށެވެ. އަދި ބޮޑެތި ސުވާލުތައް ކުރާށެވެ. ކުދިކުދި ސުވާލުތައް ކުރުމުގައި ވަގުތު ބޭކާރު ނުކުރާށެވެ. "5 ނަމާދުކުރަން ޖެހެނީ ކީއްވެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟"، "ފިރިހެނުންނަށް 4 އަނބިން ހުއްދައީ ކީއްވެހެއްޔެވެ؟"، "އަންހެނުން ބުރުގާ އަޅަން ޖެހެނީ ކީއްވެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟" މިއީ ހައްތަހާވެސް ކުދިކުދި ސުވާލުތަކެވެ. މީގެ ބަދަލުގައި ބޮޑެތި ސުވާލުތައް ކޮށް އެ ސުވާލުތަކުގެ ޖަވާބު ހޯދަން އަހަރުމެން ދަސްކުރަން ޖެހެއެވެ. "އެއީ ހަމަ ޝައްކެއްނެތް ގޮތުގައި ޙަޤީޤަތް ހެއްޔެވެ؟"، "އެ މީހަކީ ހަމަ ޙަޤީޤަތުގައިވެސް ރަސޫލެއް ހެއްޔެވެ؟"، "އެ ފޮތަކީ ހަމަ ޙަޤީޤަތުގައި ވެސް ހުރިހާ އެންމެންގެ ވެރި އިލާހުގެ ބަސްފުޅު ހެއްޔެވެ؟" މިފަދަ ބޮޑެތި ސުވާލުތައް ކޮށް އިޚްލާޞްތެރި ހިތަކާއެކީ ވަކި ކޮޅަކަށް ނުޖެހި ޖަވާބުތައް ހޯދަން ފަށައިފިނަމަ ﷲ ސުބުޙާނަޙޫ ވަތަޢާލާ އެ ޖަވާބުތައް އަހަރުމެންނަށް ދައްކަވާނެއެވެ. އޭރުން ﷲ ގެ އަމުރުފުޅުތަކުން އަހަރުމެންނަށް ފެންނާނެހާވެސް އެއްޗަކީ ފުރިހަމަ ކަމާއި ސުވާލު އުފެއްދޭނެ އެއްވެސް ޖާގައެއް ނެތްކަމެވެ. ﷲ އާއިމެދު ޔަޤީންވުމުން އަހަރުމެންގެ ހިތުގައި އެ ކުދިކުދި ސުވާލުތަކެއް ނުވާނެއެވެ. އެހެނީ ﷲ ގެ ފުރިހަމަކަމާމެދު ޔަޤީންވުމުން އެކަލާނގެ ހުރިހާ ނިންމެވުންތަކަކީ ވެސް ފުރިހަމަ ނިންމެވުންތައް ކަމުގައި ޔަޤީންވާނެއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އެކަލާނގެ އެންގެވިހާ ގޮތަކަށް އުޅެން އަހަރުމެންގެ ހިތް ތައްޔާރުވާނެއެވެ.

އެހެންކަމުން އިތުރަށް ބަލައި ހޯދަން ކެރޭށެވެ. ޙަޤީޤާތް ހޯދަން ތިބާ އަމިއްލައަށް މަސައްކަތްކޮށް އޭގެ އެންމެ ކޮޅުގައި ޖައްސާށެވެ. އެހެނީ ކަމަކާމެދު އަމިއްލައަށް ހޯދައި ބެލުމެއްނެތި ތިބާއަކީ 'މިނިވަން' ޚިޔާލެއްގެ ވެރިއެއްކަމަށް ބުނުމީ ބުއްދި ޤަބޫލުކުރާ ކަމެއްނޫނެވެ.

The chart above shows the pronouns of the Arabic language. Below each pronoun is its attached form (in purple). Pronouns can be seen independently or attached to a word. For example هُوَ which means ‘he  or it ’ can be attached to a word like كِتَابُ (which means book). To attach, we should look for the attached form of the pronoun. Attached form of هُوَ is هُ so we can say كِتَابُهُ and this would mean, ‘his book.’ Some pronouns have two attached forms. We choose the attached form for a pronoun depending on the harakah (fili) on the last letter of the word. For example if the word was كِتَابِ it will be very difficult and sounds weird to say كِتَابِهُ so the Arab says كِتَابِهِ and this would also mean ‘his book’. So the second form of an attached pronoun is only used when there is a kasra (ibifili) on the last letter. The pronoun ‘ana’ is an exceptional case. Harf of Nasb (English + Dhivehi)

حَرف نَصب إِنَّ                                   أَنَّ                              كَأَنَّ لَيْتَ                          لاَكِنَّ                  لَعَلَّ These are called Harf of Nasb. Their meanings are as follows: إِنَّ – For sure أَنَّ – that كَأَنَّ – as though لَيْتَ – if only لاَكِنَّ – however لَعَلَّ – so that/hopefully/maybe The word after harf of nasb must be a nasb. (must end with fathha, AANI sound or EENA sound – look up lessons on status) A harf of nasb doesn’t necessarily beat up the word next to it. There may be there words between harf of nasb and the word beaten up. Eg: إِنَّ اللّهَ إِنَّ is the harf nasb. The word اللّهَ is the ismu إِنَّ . Because the word became nasb due to إِنَّ . Mudhaaf-mudhaaf ilaihi with pronouns Among the lessons related to pronouns, we had looked at the pronouns chart. Below is a picture to help you remember. The ‘attached’ forms are actually nasb or jarr versions of the pronouns. They are called ‘attached’ forms because they are always found attached to a word. Example:    رَسُوْلُهُ If you find هُ   or هِ you must know that it’s the attached form of هُوَ and can only be nasb or jarr status. Exercise 1: Identify and write the attached forms of the given pronouns by looking at the chart.
